Dr. Predmore has research interests in ethics, e-marketing and technology in the classroom. She has published articles in all three research streams and continues to examine possible tools for imporvement in teaching and learning.

Teaching Advertising Theory and Concepts: Active Learning with Virtual Television Advertising Using Macromedia’s Director

Advertising is often perceived as being the most interesting part of product, price, promotion, and place in marketing. The teaching of the discipline, however, can be too abstract for complete understanding. Using Director, the students create simulated television advertising to suit the new target market in the advertising strategic plan they have created for a company.
